This series of switchgear strictly adheres to the requirements of standards such as GB/T1102, GB3906, and DL404. A significant design feature is its comprehensive "five-prevention" interlocking function, which effectively prevents operational errors, thereby ensuring the safety and reliability of equipment operation. The KYN61A-40.5 type switchgear represents an optimized upgrade of the KYN61. While maintaining the same phase spacing, it has undergone comprehensive improvements in cabinet size, structural layout, insulation design, and interlocking design, achieving miniaturization with dimensions reduced by 200mm in length, width, and height compared to the KYN61.
Regarding its technical specifications, the KYN61-40.5 Series switchgear features a main busbar rated current ranging from 1250A to 2000A, and branch busbar rated currents of 630A, 1250A, and 1600A. Its rated insulation level is robust, with a 1-minute power frequency withstand voltage (effective value) of 95kV phase-to-phase and to ground, and 115kV at the primary isolation break; the lightning impulse withstand voltage (peak value) reaches 185kV phase-to-phase and to ground, and 215kV at the primary isolation break. The auxiliary control circuit withstands 2000V for 1 minute. Furthermore, the rated short-circuit breaking current is 25kA or 31.5kA, the rated short-circuit making current (peak) can be 63kA or 80kA, and it boasts a 4-second rated short-time withstand current of 25kA or 31.5kA. The enclosure protection level is IP4X externally, and IP2X between compartments or when the circuit breaker compartment door is open. Typical dimensions for the KYN61A are 1200×2600×2400 mm, while the KYN61 measures 1400×2800×2600 mm, with a weight of approximately 2300 kg.
The internal structure of the switchgear is precisely engineered, incorporating several critical components. These include the cabinet itself, the handcart compartment, the removable handcart, the handcart compartment door, a lead screw and nut propulsion mechanism, and secondary plugs. Additionally, it houses ZN□/ST-40.5 series circuit breakers, a relay and instrument door, relay and instrument compartment, shutters, contact boxes, the main busbar compartment, a pressure relief device, rear upper and lower cover plates, a grounding switch, partitions, a cable compartment, cable clamps, and current transformers, all contributing to the equipment's comprehensive functionality and reliable operation.
