The YBD-12 Series Pre-Installed Underground Box Transformer is a new generation of complete power equipment, primarily composed of two integral parts: an underground transformer and an advertising light box type outdoor switchgear. This hybrid structure cleverly integrates power infrastructure with urban landscapes, aiming to meet the increasingly stringent requirements for power equipment in urban planning, highways, and public facility construction.
The underground transformer, a new compact substation unit, integrates the transformer, high-voltage load switch, and fuses into a single assembly. It is installed in an underground pit, thereby not occupying surface space and notably capable of being submerged in water for a period of time, demonstrating exceptional environmental adaptability. Its rated voltage includes high voltage 6/10kV and low voltage 0.4kV, with a capacity range from 30kVA to 1000kVA. It offers options for S11 series silicon steel sheet cores or S15 series amorphous alloy cores to meet varying loss requirements. The underground component features an enclosure protection level of IP68, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh conditions.
Conversely, the advertising light box type outdoor switchgear ingeniously combines the functionalities of billboards and outdoor switchgear, installed above ground. Its interior houses the outdoor high and low voltage distribution cabinet, while its two sides are designed as advertising light boxes with visual effects. This design transforms power facilities from mere functional units into integral parts of the urban landscape. The high-voltage switchgear segment is rated at 12kV, with a rated current of 630A, and boasts a rated short-time withstand current of 20kA/2s and a rated peak withstand current of 50kA. Its power frequency withstand voltage to ground/break is 42/48kV (1 min), and lightning impulse withstand voltage is 75/85kV. The low-voltage switchgear operates at a rated voltage of 400V, with main road rated currents ranging from 100A to 2000A, and rated short-time withstand currents up to 15kA or 30kA, both featuring an IP34 protection level.
A key advantage of this product is its adherence to urban ecological design principles. Through its miniaturized and underground installation, it significantly saves land area and effectively enhances the surrounding environment's aesthetics. It is particularly well-suited for locations with high demands on space and landscape, such as urban traffic arteries, residential areas, airports, stations, and highways, and is poised to become a leading trend in urban distribution network transformation. For installation, we provide guidelines for pre-digging the soil and compacting the base, recommending pre-embedding steel plates or bolts to secure the unit. After installation, the soil is backfilled, and turf can be planted, further integrating the unit seamlessly into its surroundings.
