The switchgear achieves a compact volume, comparable to both vacuum and SF6 gas-insulated ring main units. Its design effectively resolves the practical challenges and hazards associated with fuse replacement in small cabinets, significantly enhancing operational safety and maintenance convenience.

The XGN68-12 demonstrates strong practicality and a high level of protection. Notably, it is currently a small vacuum ring network cabinet in China. Depending on specific requirements, the equipment can be flexibly configured with load switches and vacuum circuit breakers.

Regarding technical parameters, the XGN68-12 has a rated voltage of 12kV, a main busbar rated current of 630A, and a rated frequency of 50Hz. It features a main circuit short-circuit breaking rated current of 20kA and a short-circuit closing rated current of 50kA, with a rated dynamic withstand current (peak value) of 50kA. The mechanical life of this switchgear is 10,000 operations, and the circuit breaker's opening and closing frequency is also 10,000 times. Its 1-minute power frequency withstand voltage (phase-to-phase, to ground/isolated breaking point) is 42/48kV, and the lightning impulse withstand voltage within the cabinet (peak value) is 75/85kV (phase-to-phase, to ground/isolated breaking point). The secondary circuit power frequency withstand voltage is 2000V.
