The switchgear achieves a compact volume, comparable to both vacuum and SF6 gas-insulated ring main units. Its design effectively resolves the practical challenges and hazards associated with fuse replacement in small cabinets, significantly enhancing operational safety and maintenance convenience.

The XGN68-12 demonstrates strong practicality and a high level of protection. Notably, it is currently the smallest vacuum ring network cabinet in China. Depending on specific requirements, the equipment can be flexibly configured with load switches and vacuum circuit breakers.

Regarding technical parameters, the XGN68-12 has a rated voltage of 12kV, a main busbar rated current of 630A, and a rated frequency of 50Hz. It features a main circuit short-circuit breaking rated current of 20kA and a short-circuit closing rated current of 50kA, with a rated dynamic withstand current (peak value) of 50kA. The mechanical life of this switchgear is 10,000 operations, and the circuit breaker's opening and closing frequency is also 10,000 times. Its 1-minute power frequency withstand voltage (phase-to-phase, to ground/isolated breaking point) is 42/48kV, and the lightning impulse withstand voltage within the cabinet (peak value) is 75/85kV (phase-to-phase, to ground/isolated breaking point). The secondary circuit power frequency withstand voltage is 2000V.
