High Voltage Cable Branch Box

High-voltage cable branch boxes are specifically engineered to address the challenge of numerous branch lines in 10KV distribution network cable projects, offering an economical, reliable, and easy-to-maintain wiring solution that significantly reduces line failure rates. These devices feature fully insulated and fully sealed characteristics, ensuring operational reliability and safety.

Our cable branch box product series supports flexible inlet and outlet line configurations, capable of realizing up to 6 branches. They are designed to be anti-flooding, anti-fouling, anti-corrosion, and resistant to condensation and frost, ensuring stable operation in various harsh environments. The products are equipped with fully enclosed silicone rubber cable plugs and offer optional cold shrink three-finger sleeves or cold shrink insulation tubes. Additionally, branch space is reserved within the enclosure for future expansion needs.

In terms of technical parameters, high-voltage cable branch boxes have a rated voltage of 15kV, a maximum phase-to-phase voltage of 14.4kV, and a maximum voltage relative to ground of 8.3kV. Their 1-minute power frequency withstand voltage reaches 42kV, 15-minute DC withstand voltage is 53kV, lightning impulse withstand voltage is 105kV, and the minimum corona inception voltage is 11kV.

Depending on the rated current, the product is available with 200A and 600A loop parameters. Specifically, the 200A loop has a rated short-time withstand current of 16kA for 1 second or 3.5kA for 3 seconds, while the 600A loop is rated at 50kA for 0.3 seconds or 27kA for 4 seconds. The device's partial discharge is ≤10PC/13kV, loop resistance is ≤40μΩ, and the enclosure protection level is IP33.

As the preferred equipment for distribution network cable projects, these cable branch boxes' simple and flexible connection combinations allow them to replace ring network cabinets in certain situations. They can even be buried underground or immersed in water, effectively saving investment in equipment and cables, and significantly improving power supply reliability. The products are widely used in commercial centers, industrial parks, and densely populated urban areas.
