This series of switchgear features a completely sealed system design, with all live parts and switches enclosed in a stainless steel housing. This structure ensures it is completely unaffected by external environmental conditions, thereby guaranteeing operational reliability and personal safety, and achieving maintenance-free operation.
By selecting an expandable busbar, this equipment can achieve full modularity. The extended busbar is fully insulated and shielded, ensuring high reliability and safety. Specifically, SafeRing offers standard configurations of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 channels, with additional devices added as per customer requirements. SafePlus, on the other hand, demonstrates extreme flexibility due to its combination of full and half modules and its inherent scalability. Despite their flexible configurations, both SafeRing and SafePlus share the same user interface.
We also provide factory automation solutions, establishing this series as a concept of intelligent switches, which minimizes the workload of on-site installation and commissioning. Its design adheres to IEC298 and other relevant international and national standards, and it is designed for an operational life exceeding 30 years under indoor conditions (20°C).
This ring main unit is suitable for a wide range of applications, including but not limited to hotels, shopping centers, office buildings, commercial centers, light mining equipment, tunnels and subways, wind power plants, and small factories. It is particularly well-suited for distribution systems requiring high power supply reliability, such as urban commercial centers, industrial concentration areas, airports, electrified railways, and highways with high power supply load density and cable-fed networks.
In terms of technical parameters, the series supports multiple voltage levels, with rated voltages including 7.2kV, 12kV, 24kV, and 40.5kV on the high-voltage side, and a rated frequency of 50Hz. Its rated short-time withstand current for high-voltage switchgear at 12kV-24kV can reach 12.5kA (4s) or 20kA (2s), and the rated peak withstand current at 12kV can reach 31.5kA or 50kA. Regarding insulation levels, at 12kV, the 1-minute power frequency withstand voltage (phase-to-ground, phase-to-phase) is 42kV, and at the break it is 48kV; the lightning impulse withstand voltage (peak value) at 12kV is 75kV, and at the break it is 85kV.
